So you want to know more about us?

Journeys of the World, Journeysoftheworld.com, Travel Photography, Souvenir Books, Educational, Pictorial History & the Environment, are some of the many words used to define who we are.

But lets start from the beginning.

We started with "Journeys of Cinque Terre" which is the name given to our "Cinque Terre" publication. We also had a few more books on the way as we were publishing the Cinque Terre issue. Therefore, we figured it would be logical to brand the name and have all of our books under one generic name. By branding our products under one name, we allow you - the customer, to know you are getting a quality product, which was done with passion.

Furthermore, when someone invests in a book, he wants something unique, with an edge and above all, a style/philosophy which few others have. We are proud to say, that our collections represent all the above and much more.

Why? well simply because we don't stage our photography and do not want to use multi-million dollar production companies, just to obtain that "glamour shot". We want to represent something which the average traveler could come across at any given point. This is something which many publications tend to overlook. In another word, we are taking the reader back to the basics.

We produce our products from scratch, including: photography, design, layout, branding & much more if need be. By having control of all aspects of this production, you know what you are getting, regardless of the title.

We strive for simplicity, clean looks, pleasing layouts for all ages and a focus on the many beautiful objects, landscapes and historical elements from across the globe. We do not attempt to fill pages and pages with boring content about who was the last Prince of some unknown remote island. Instead, we want you to be excited about the esthetic potential which these places have and how you would enjoy your next trip. Our mission is not to substitute history books, but to visually complement them.

Finally, as we all know from our high school biology textbook, the human eye is very sensitive to visual issues. That's what we want to bring you, a life long impact of visual pleasures. Something so pleasant to visualize that you'll be dying to jump on the next flight - regardless of how many times you've been there.
